Boozin' and Bloggin', this is the life

POTC 4 has had the biggest international opening of all time.  It grossed $346.4 million world wide ... holy moly.  It's also been leaked online so if you're too lazy to go to the theatre or too poor (like me) you can still see it.  Of course, Chris told me I wasn't allowed to watch it without him so who knows when I'll be able to see it, sigh.

A woman was found unconscious on Space Mountain yesterday so the ride was shut down for the day.  She was taken to the hospital and so far there's no word on why she was passed out or how she is.  The weather was pretty bad so it was probably from dehydration or something.  She did have some medical condition so it wasn't the ride's fault even though Disney was telling the guests that the ride was shut down due to technical difficulties.  No matter what happened, our thoughts are with her.

George Lucas on Star Tours.  He looks like he'd be fun to hang out with. I don't care if he's like my parent's age, he's friggen George Lucas!!

Details about the Fantasyland expansion are out.  Some of this I knew, some of this is new:

  • Cinderella's Castle is getting a new wall to divide it from the rest of Fantasyland
  • The Beauty and the Beast Castle/ restaurant will be in three sections, the main room/ballroom, West Wing, and Beast's art gallery.  Special effects include snow that will be year round.
  • Gaston gets a tavern and Belle gets a 40 min. interactive ride
  • The Dumbo ride is getting redone. New paint and new carousals
  • Ariel's under the sea journey will have scenes of her grotto and Ursula's lair
  • The Barnstormer is getting new paint, a new station and is now being called The Great Goofini
  • The Seven Dwarf's Mine Train is a roller coaster which has an appearance by Snow White
Cars 2 will officially be showing a teaser of the new Pixar film Brave

I think that's all I have for now.  Oh, congratulations to all those that survived the rapture yesterday! Even though he called it off way before 6pm, and that was the second time he predicted the end of the world.  Next, we just have to get through 2012's "apocalypse".
