“If you live to be 100, I hope I live to be 100 minus 1 day, so I never have to live without you.”

Housing!!

The way I'm looking at it, this program is divided in to thirds.
1/3- Working ~ your role, your position, your location, your co-workers, your pay
1/3- Experience ~ meeting new people, living on your own, networking, experiencing everything Disney has to offer
1/3- Housing ~ your apartment, your roommates

That's been where my head's at for the past few days.  I'm trying to decide on which apartment complex is right for me and all of them have their pros and cons.  There are three choices Patterson, Chatham, and Vista Way.  My preference at the moment is Chatham.  It's bigger than the other two, the bus station is right there, it's newer than Vista Way and less expensive than Patterson.  So far the only down side I've seen is that there is no wireless in the apartments and that in Chatham specifically, there is no ethernet connection in the bedrooms.  While that isn't a deal breaker, it's pretty poopy.  Patterson I guess is the most quiet of the three and Vista Way is party central.  I'm not really a partier, I like to go to them occasionally but I rather not live in that environment 24/7, it makes it sound like a frat house.  I like quiet but I feel like most of the people who are going to choose "Wellness" housing (no alcohol, those who are under 21 are automatically in wellness) will be placed there and I want the option of drinking in my own place if I want to.  I'm trying to convince Chris that Chatham is the way to go. If we both got housing there it'd be amazing. We wouldn't have to worry about the 1am curfew or signing each other in every time we see each other.  He read on another blog about an engaged couple who asked the people when they were checking-in if they could be in the same building and they said it wasn't a problem and they were even placed on the same floor.  Not that I'm engaged or anything but it's good to know that if we ask to be placed together it could happen.  Maybe one day they'll make the apartments Co-ed ... maybe ... doubtful.
