"To Infinity, And Beyond!"

So while I am not new at blogging, this is my first attempt at writing for the benefit of someone else's sanity other than my own.

I'm Karen.  I'm a senior at Bridgewater State University, 21 years old and recent addition to the Disney College Program Fall 2011!! I decided after reading about 1000 other blogs that I'd start my own about life as a QSFB cast member. Let us begin : ]

I was originally persuaded to apply to the program by my boyfriend (Chris) who is an even bigger Disney fanatic than I am.  Within a week of my online application I had scheduled my phone interview and three days after scheduling I had my interview with Melissa.  It went really well. I think the fact that I was overly excited and asked her questions helped my chance of getting in (words of wisdom).  Three weeks later I got my acceptance email and it's pretty much been smooth sailing since then.  Ironically, I got a role that I didn't even apply for.  Originally I applied for Merchandise, Costuming, and Bibbity Bobbity Boutique but I told her that I would be open to other roles. I'm glad I did or else I might not have been offered a place in the program. Plus, the pay in QSFB is better than merchandise anyways : P

So I leave for Florida in a few months and my move in date is the 10th of August.  Since there's plenty of time between now and then, I won't divulge all the information about myself in the first entry.  I'll try the best that I can to update with all the info I can find about my role and other relevant stuff until the program starts, and then obviously it'll get more interesting haha.
